Greetings!

Tomorrow, our Abortion Pill Reversal Disclosure Act, HB 578, goes before the Senate Health & Welfare Committee in Baton Rouge. If we pass that committee, we go to the Senate floor later this week or early next week.

Here's what we need you to do TODAY:

  • If your State Senator sits on the Senate Health & Welfare Committee (list below), please give their office a call TODAY and ask them to vote YES on HB 578. Click on your Senator's name below to find the phone number.

  • Ask friends and family to contact their senators! Forward this email or visit our social media pages to share our posts.

The Abortion Pill Reversal Protocol has saved lives in Louisiana and across America, including Zechariah Hagan, son of Rebekah Hagan (read her story here). By passing HB 578, we can provide some information to women who may regret their abortion that HOPE is still possible!

For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

P.S. Students! Register for our first-class Pulse Leadership Institute in the Baton Rouge area July 12-16! Parents, encourage your high school or college student to attend!
Hyde Amendment in Jeopardy; Please
Join the #SaveMyHyde Effort Today!
The Hyde Amendment was first added to appropriations bill in 1976 to prohibit federal funds from paying for elective abortions. It has held firm until now, but President Biden is eliminating it from his budget. This week pro-life leaders from national and state organizations sent a letter to congressional leadership, urging them to fight for the Hyde Amendment and other similar longstanding pro-life riders to be included in the budget. Will you join the national #SaveMyHyde effort to make it clear to our leaders that the Hyde Amendment must remain?

Email Your Senator! Abortion Pill Reversal Disclosure Act Before Committee Wednesday
HB 578, the Abortion Pill Reversal Disclosure Act, is scheduled to be heard in the Senate Committee on Health and Welfare Wednesday morning. The bill, by Rep. Beryl Amedee, passed the Louisiana House by a 71-27-7 margin on May 12. HB 578 provides critical information to women choosing a chemical abortion about the possibility that the effects of their abortion could be reversed and the life of their unborn child saved. To date, more than 2,000 babies have been born across the nation thanks to the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol. Please email your Senator today and ask them to pass HB 578!
