Water Lily Pond Inside Crystal Bridge

Our Santa Cruz water lily's pads have been getting progressively larger with each new leaf since we started growing it in May inside the Crystal Bridge Conservatory and are nearly 2 feet in diameter now. Fully mature they can grow as large as 6.5 feet and can hold over 100 lbs weight! The underside of the leaf is purple and covered in thorns that are even sharper than they look. The water lily pond continues to be a jewel of the Conservatory!

The Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory is open Sunday, 11am-5pm and Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm. Admission is $10.50 with discounts for seniors, military, students. Gardens members get free admission!
