Closed for the Holidays; Time Off Reminder
Hey Faculty and Staff!

Did you know that from December 27-30, university offices will be closed to the public. Employees may choose to take a vacation day, work from home (with approval from the supervisor), or come into the office.
There are some exceptions to this notice for areas that support a 24 hour, 7 days a week operation.

Also, don't forget that Christmas and New Years fall on a weekend this year, meaning that you have flexible holiday hours to use up. You should have received an email from UWP’s Human Resources this week regarding how to use those hours – please contact Human Resources @ hr@uwp.edu if you have any questions.

You can also go to the UW System’s webpage to learn more about leave policies and how to use your leave hours.

The Thanksgiving Play
Dec 10-12 | see website for hours

Good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in this satire, as a troupe of terminally “woke” teaching artists scrambles to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.

The American origin story sits unassumingly in the crosshairs of blunt comedy in this biting examination of well-meaning political correctness, the awkwardness of culturally appropriative missteps, and the surprisingly insurmountable challenge to devise an elementary school pageant free of unintentional offenses.
