Block #2 Progress Reports sent last week, on Friday, December 1st

Last Friday, on December 1st, teachers sent Progress Reports via Blackbaud to all students who are receiving low or failing grades in block 2.  We consider 77 % (or a C-) to be a low grade. The purpose of the report is to alert students and parents/guardians of academic progress at the halfway point of block 2. Students still have ample time to meet with their teachers during 3A/3B, attend after-school tutoring sessions, and make an extra effort in the class that requires more effort on their part. If you have not received any progress reports, it means that at this time your Blazer’s grades are at a 76% or higher. Questions about Progress Reports and grades should be directed to individual teachers.

Thank you for sharing your opinions about the 4x4 Block Schedule

We are grateful to the over one hundred families who shared their opinions on the 4x4 block schedule in our recent survey. The Scheduling Committee is in the process of reviewing the data, and comparing and contrasting it with the data provided by the students on their own survey. One factor that stands out among students, parents/guardians and faculty members is that longer class periods (upwards of 80 minutes) are a very important factor in Blazers’ education. This element will be an essential part of any schedule to be implemented at Trinity in the 2025-26 school year. Updates regarding the review of the block schedule will be shared with families at our next Parent Listening Session, scheduled for April 4, 2024. We hope to see you there.
