Finally Off the Road For A Bit! (Which means I can do some new video work!)

Hello Everyone,

Many of you know that I tend to travel and speak A LOT during the winter/spring months, and this year was no exception -- with pretty heavy travel straight through June and into July this year. That has kept me a little behind on some of my bigger projects, but I finally have a chance to do some serious content development starting now. And the first result of this is right here:

I am launching a new full-length (85 minutes) "hybrid" video webinar program on OneNote starting August 1!

Yes, TOMORROW (although by the time many of you see this, that means TODAY!) What I did this time is a bit different -- I'm calling it a "hybrid" webinar program because it is actually a pre-recorded program, but my video/webinar hosting firm, GoTo, now has a service where I can post "On Demand" videos that still allow you to ask questions as the program is playing and I'll be able to answer them (hopefully) within 24-48 hours (client/travel permitting).

So, you get the best of both: an "anytime on-demand" video program with the potential Q&A/feedback benefits of a live program. And, obviously this ALSO means you can put me (my video actually!) on screen two, bring up your OneNote on screen 1, and be ready to hit the "pause" button to start practicing with your software right as you are going through the program -- you can make it completely self-paced.

And in this case, this is exactly what I would recommend you do. There is a lot of content, tips, and techniques in this program, and I really think the best way to learn OneNote is by getting into the software and trying many of these tips. Look at this as an "anytime" guide for learning an excellent piece of software not only for your own personal productivity and organization, but also possibly greatly enhanced project and team management and collaboration.

I cover the basics of set up, some of the most-used features, the structure of the software, and then several best practice ideas, including tips on how you could maybe even reduce internal e-mail.

The regular price on this program is $49, but as a member of my list, you can take an additional $10 off that price and get this valuable "anytime" training video by using the discount code: RandyOneNote at checkout. Here's the link:

NOTE: This video could easily be a way to raise revenues and provide new content for your professional group or association by simply co-promoting the program to your members. If you'd like to know more, reach out to me at timelyman@outlook.com.

Please remember, this $49/$39 price is for a single-person license, so if you have others on your team that would also be interested, contact me for further per-person discounts for a multi-person license.

You could even use the multi-person license option to hold an ad hoc group training -- bring everyone together into a conference room with their laptops, play the video with pauses every 15-20 minutes, and let people start to play and share as they work and learn this powerful Microsoft 365 software tool. I'm happy to walk you through the process to do this!

And once you have a single-person or group license, you will have access to the video anytime up through July 31, 2025.

And this is the first of a new set of full-length videos!

Next, I'll be posting similar "hybrid" webinar videos on Managing/Leading Great Staff & Team Meetings AND a new video on Taming the E-mail Beast specifically for New/Web Outlook users.

I will hopefully have both of these videos posted in this new "hybrid" pre-recorded webinar format in the next two weeks -- watch for more information very soon. And of course, also keep me in mind for live in-person and webinar sessions on these and my other topics for your company, group, event, or team. My September and October are filling up, so if you have something brewing, get in touch soon.

This Month's Life Hack -- A New Little Video on How I Have Fully Electrified My Lawn/Garden/Snow Equipment

It has taken me a few years, but I realized recently that I no longer have ANY gasoline-powered lawn, garden, or snow removal tools -- all of them are now electric. And most are running on the new super-dense batteries that are quite powerful. Sure, I'm doing this a bit because of climate, but there are some even better reasons to consider this change: 1) I no longer smell like gasoline after using these tools (my wife loves that), and 2) I don't have to go to the gas station anymore. If you'd like to see my little 3.5 minute video on this, here it is:

See how easy it is to go electric for lawn/garden/snow!

Let me know the other programs you have an interest in ...

Both daughters will be on trips during much of August, so I'm hoping to make a big dent in my project to record new video programs on all of my most popular Microsoft and Google classes before my busy fall client/travel season hits full swing. If there is one of my courses that you would really like for me to add to the production schedule earlier (or that you think your group members might be highly interested in), please let me know. I'll try to accommodate as best I can!

And until next video, Stay Timely!
