Another Meaning for Memorial Day
In a weekly LinkedIn newsletter, Fred Crans, Healthcare BD Executive at St. Onge Company, wrote a tribute honoring our fallen heroes for Memorial Day.
He wrote about stumbling across a copy of Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree at his local Walmart. He said, "I was familiar with the book. I had bought it and read it to my own children when both they and I were young. Where it went, who knows? But the minute I saw it, I had to have it because I finally understood its message."
It's a powerful tribute that illuminates the true sacrifice that so many have made for our freedom.
