GRADPASS
The GradPass is the graduating student's ticket to enter the Los Angeles Convention Center.
If you were already on the Commencement list before registration ended, or completed your registration between April 8, 2024, at 9 a.m. - Aril 26, 2024, at 5 p.m., it was automatically assigned to you.
The GradPass must be presented by the graduate at the student entrance (not guest entrance), at the West Hall Garage Level Entrance to enter the venue. Staff and event volunteers will then direct you to the student check-in area (behind the main stage) where you will receive your pre-printed name card (the name card used by the name reader and photographer), and line-up to be pre-seated.
Your GradPass can be printed or displayed on your mobile device to be scanned. GradPass reminders:

Your log in email address is your @calstatela.edu address. For Doctor of Nursing Practice candidates, your log in is the university email address we have on file. If you receive an error message, you are entering the incorrect log in email and/or password.

The staff at Commencement will not have access to your Grad Pass so please make sure to print or download it in advance.

If you registered after the deadline date, and was not assigned a GradPass, you must check in with the Graduation Office booth at West Hall Garage Level Entrance for verification.
- Graduating students will only be allowed to enter the venue for their specific ceremony.
